Robert L. Becker, Managing Director, Head of Capital Introduction
Robert (Bob) Becker is Managing Director and Head of Capital Introduction. He is responsible for the firm’s Capital Introduction offering with a focus on alternative investment managers, institutional investors and family offices. Consistent with JonesTrading’s business model, Mr. Becker maintains relationships with the largest family offices and alternative allocators across the country.
Prior to joining JonesTrading, Mr. Becker was a senior consultant to Park River Fund Solutions, an outsourced fund operations firm. He has also served as the Managing Director and Head of Capital Introduction within the Prime Brokerage Group at Jeffries, a Managing Partner at Viathon Capital Management and was in the Debt Capital Markets Group at BB&T Bank. In addition, Mr. Becker has worked as a long/short portfolio manager at both Providence Investment Management and Neuberger Berman and was on the high yield bond desks at NationsBanc Montgomery and Raymond James.
He is a graduate of Alfred University and holds the Series 7, 24, 57 and 63 industry licenses.
