The firm executes trades in U.S. and Canadian equities and U.S. derivatives as agent for the Canadian pension plans, mutual funds, life insurance firms, and hedge funds.
By leveraging the JonesTrading relationship model for agency trading, institutions in both the U.S. and Canada are better able to source and execute blocks in the traditionally illiquid Canadian market.
The firm is fully registered in Canada, having received its broker number in May 2009.
